Create your family

Sign up as a guardian, then add your kids by name — they join by scanning a QR code on your phone. No email or password on their side.

Kids scan the code on your phone and turn on location sharing themselves; adults join with your invite code. Everyone sees every zone you set — nothing runs behind their back.

Questions families ask.

What does SafeLoop cost?

The Free plan covers 1 member and 1 zone with SOS alerts. Standard is $4.99/month per family (up to 3 members, up to 5 zones, 3-day history, SOS alerts, tamper alerts, trips (street-level routes)). Pro is $9.99/month per family (up to 10 members, up to 10 zones, 7-day history, crash detection, speed alerts, route replay, daily summary). Does my child need an email address or password?

No. You add your kids by name, and they join by scanning a QR code on your phone, then turn on location sharing themselves. Adults join with your invite code.

What can guardians see, and what can't they?

Guardians see live location while a member is inside one of the family's zones, zone arrivals and departures, SOS and safety alerts, and battery level. On Standard and Pro they also see trips, the route a member takes while moving. Guardians can't see where a member is while they're stopped outside every zone, or any messages, calls, browsing, app usage or screen time.

Can my kids see what I see?

Yes. Every member has a Transparency page listing what guardians can and can't see, every zone and schedule, and every alert that was sent about them.

How long is location data kept?

Location history is visible for 1 to 7 days depending on your plan, and raw location points are deleted automatically after 7 days. Street-level trip paths are deleted after 30 days. SafeLoop never sells personal information and shows no ads.

What happens if location sharing is turned off?

On Standard and Pro, tamper alerts tell guardians if the app is removed, GPS is turned off, or permissions change during a zone's active hours.

Does SafeLoop work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. SafeLoop is on the App Store and Google Play, and guardians can also manage their family from a web browser.
